As a philosopher (Dr. phil., M.A.) and psychologist (M.A.) I serve as senior lecturer at the Institute for Classical Philology and Philosophy of Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg<\/a>\u00a0and at Medizinische Hochschule Brandenburg Neuruppin<\/a>.<\/p>\n Between 2018 and 2025, I taught at Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin FUBIS<\/a> and at University of the Arts Bremen<\/a>.<\/p>\n From 2011 until 2018 I served as assistant professor for Aesthetics at the Faculty of Art and Design<\/a> of Bauhaus-University Weimar<\/a> and from 2019 until 2020 as senior lecturer at the College of Architecture, Media and Design of University of the Arts Berlin<\/a>.<\/p>\n From 2012 until 2016 I served as Speaker of the PhD program in Art & Design, Free Art and Media Art. <\/em>From 2015 until 2016 he served as Deputy Director of Bauhaus Research School<\/a>.<\/p>\n From 2012 until 2015, I served as Dean of Studies of the Faculty of Art and Design.<\/p>\n From 2007 until 2012 I taught Philosophy and Cultural Theory\u00a0 at the \u00a0Institute for Cultural Science<\/a> and at the International Department<\/a> of Humboldt-University Berlin.<\/p>\n From 2005 until 2011 I taught Aesthetics, Cultural Theory and Design Theory\u00a0 at the \u00a0College of Architecture, Media and Design<\/a> of the University of the Arts Berlin.<\/p>\n My research fields are\u00a0 Aesthetics, Philosophy of Culture, Psychoanalysis, Political Philosophy, Philosophy of History and Economic Anthropology.<\/p>\n I studied Philosophy, Romance Studies and Economics at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen, \u00a0Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-University Frankfurt\/Main, \u00a0Columbia University NYC\/USA, at Universit\u00e9 de Paris 1 Panth\u00e9on-Sorbonne and at Humboldt-University \u00a0Berlin. In 2000 I received a stipend for participation in the School of Theory and Criticism<\/em> at Cornell University, USA.<\/p>\n I received my PhD in philosophy in 2006 with the predicate “summa cum laude” from the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Wuppertal.<\/p>\n From 2011 until 2012 I worked as an associate in the research project \u00a0Global Economic Ethics<\/a> of \u00a0stiftung neue verantwortung<\/a> in Berlin.<\/p>\n
